Where Mello stands

A plain account of what exists, what is decided and what has not been announced. We update this page when any of those answers change.

Current status

Mello is in prelaunch development. The canvas, editing controls and demos shown on this site come from working internal builds. Nothing here is a public release, and there is no way to sign up for a paid plan yet.

What is decided

  • Mello is a visual editing layer for AI-built web apps. You select an element on a canvas, adjust it, and the change is written back to your project files.
  • Your code stays yours. Mello writes standard, readable code rather than proprietary abstractions.
  • Access starts with private beta cohorts. Joining the waitlist secures a spot for early invites.

What is not announced yet

  • Supported frameworks. Current builds target modern React and Next.js projects, but compatibility will be confirmed before private access opens.
  • Platform integrations with specific AI coding tools.
  • Pricing and the public launch date.

Until these are settled, this page will not give estimates for them.

Where updates appear

Dated notes on what changed are kept in the build log. This roadmap is revised when a decision is made.
